Timeless furniture

I founded my company in 1953. After a start with the production of classic furniture from the 17th century till Imperial Period, I realised that the coming of highly industrialised production methods were jeopardising my work.

Therefore I had to find a type of furniture that was different and the further the industrialisation and technology advanced , the more difference there would be. I started to document myself visiting museums and I became fascinated by objects from the medieval/renaissance period.

Here I found both the values that were disappearing and a vast inspiration of itmes to propose to a refined and modern public.

My growing-up in a farmers family with strong but simple values helped me to understand the culture of these lost times and so, in 1960, I realised the 18 "gioielli" of the collection "Tuscanyjewels". This was in 1960.

Finally I had found the type of furniture that,  part for the wood (natural solid chestnut in full plank)  part for the accessories (hand forged ironworks) and part for the hand finish, went beyond fashion and acquired more value as time passed by.

Today, after 40 years, at TARPAC we reason like in those days and each piece of furniture from our collections is cured personally by me, by my children Damiano, Daniele, Susanna and by the master craftsmen who took over the love, passion and sensibility towards this furniture of extreme beauty and taste.

My gratitude goes to all of them.
