R2M solution is a fast growing startup innovation center with three primary activities.  First, we help companies innovate and bring funding to great ideas.  Although billions of euro are available at the EU, national, and regional levels, public funding is not considered by most organizations due to a lack of knowledge, expertise or time to learn where to go and how to apply.  In such scenarios, R2M can serve as an outsourced R&D division, with a built in network of partners and in-house expertise of the various funding programs and their rules. In less than one year, we have brought 5 organizations to EU research and raised nearly €7 million in funding for client technologies and collaborative projects. Our second activity is industrial consulting across the areas of Energy and Sustainability, Engineering, ICT & Automation. Examples include LEED certification consulting of a new 30,000 m² office building, building energy simulations for retrofit options across 700 commercial stores, political campaign support via twitter analysis with our patented web data mining software, the preparation of a business plan for a company seeking investor funding, and startup mentorship for a new tour operator company opening in Sicily. Our third activity involves the promotion and commercial uptake of research results. We specialize in spinoffs, startups, market analysis, IPR protection, patents and everything needed to turn research into sales.
