Tyre dismantling - the innovation in recycling
Sfera Engineering is the creator of a system for the total dismantling and recycling of tyres, that allows to recycle every single part of them. All the different parts that constitute a tyre are broken up. In fact, one of the main issues in tyres dismantling remains, when it is applied, the dismantling of the different parts in a differentiated way.

The difference between the typologies consists in the
dimensions:
• TRUCK varies between 19” and 22,5” (weight range 20 ÷ 60 Kg)
• PASSENGERS varies between 12” and 18”/20” (weight range 7 ÷ 21 Kg)
All the tyre construction do follow the same specific concept: high rubber percentage and a various percentage of steel or textile cord.
HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
The P.F.U. (or other rubber), loaded on the roller and/or loading device, is guided arrives in the granulating area, where the fraction device, which is composed by an injection system and/ or a high pressure gun (1800/2300 bar) and a fraction element (H?O), uses particular angles. The P.F.U. is
an impinged concept by thousands of high pressure droplets which are fractioning the rubber components (consisting of vulcanized and non vulcanized), non rubber-like parts (steel and textile cord).
The fractioning system follows mechanical/electrical axes (X,Y,Z - three dimensional) driven by an electronic software. (PATENTED)

After being fractionized and reduced to granulate (value imposed to the system), the P.F.Us. are collected by a device located in the inferior zone of the protected area, which contains water and a lower belt that transports the rubber granulate ( or powder ) to the drying area. In this area the rubber granulate is dried by a powerful suction system, the water residuals are pulled out of the drying area, while the rubber remains on the tape. Contemporarily, hot air (55°/60°C) is circulated by fans (150-250 m³/h) with low pressure avoiding granulatÈs overheating. The temperature is not so high to provoke an overheating of the rubber. The dried rubber is transported by a special belt to a hopper; big-bags (1,25 m³) are located under the hopper in a movable structure, which can contain 2-3 big-bags, in order to collect the granulate (or powder).
There is a separation system for foreseen different granulate types. This productive process allows the transformation with an ecological system. Production takes place with a cold system avoiding the emission of dioxin in the air, in fact the system does not need filtering unit.
