Volta Celeste is a project by the Artist Valter Boj. The project consists in the realisation of 150000 stars, made with clay and painted in cobalt oxide. Each star is a unique work of the artist, who created entirely by hand each clay stars. These stars represent real small sculptures that celebrate the work of men's hands. The bluBoj and the sparkling white are obtained through the particular clay pot.

Swiss Business Group and Start2Business Magazine's journey into the world of art is going on, thanks to the awareness of the artistic environment of the President Vincenzo Caci. After the great success of the event "In cerca di un mondo migliore", this time on the occasion of the matching event Start2Match Networking Night on November 13th  in Lugano, we will present the Artist Valter Boj and his work S-Volta Celeste, the works exhibited during the soiree will be available at Swiss Business in Via Pietro Peri 9/D P.O. The event will be consacrated by the photographer Gianni Bacino, the picuters will be exhibited during the event on March 2014 in Lugano. The city of Lugano is always in the forefront in supporting artists of great talent.

 

Following the S2B philosophy of the traveling events, flagship of Swiss Business Group, the works of the artists will be exhibited during the year 2014 in different strategic points of the Swiss Confederation

 

Last stop of this artistic journey will be in Bern, where by the end of the year 2014 it will be possible to enjoy Valter Boj’s S-Volta Celeste

 

Volta Celeste is a project by the Artist Valter Boj. The project consist in the realisation of 150000 stars, made with clay and painted in cobalt oxide. Each star is a unique work of the artist, who created entirely by hand over 150000 clay stars. These stars represent real small sculptures that celebrate the work of men's hands. The bluBoj and the sparkling white are obtained through the particular clay pot.

 

These stars are presented in a work in progress of over 6 years in Italy and all over the world with stars- shaped metallic supporting structures and other installation completed by stars, paints, poems, pictures and videos.

 

The project S-Volta Celeste has been arleady shown in Bologna, Faenza, Rome, Vienna, Paris, Berlin, Helsinki, Milan, Istanbul, Gent Linea Art Belgium, every presentation was matched with expositions and shows. The poet and the artist Claudio Pozzani, the director Gian Piero Reverberi and the poet and performer John Giorno were involved into the project.

 

The project recognised at an international level has seen the four artist committed through a four years path in the most important cities in the world.

Valter Boj, was born in Sardinia on June 3rd 1959. He began working in the pottery workshops in Albisola, an art pottery town with a great history linked to famous artists like Fontana, Jorn, Lam, Fabbri, Piero Manzoni, Sebastian Matta, Capogrossi.

 

In 1976 he was given the keys of a small workshop, that represent the beginning of his life as an artist.

 

In the early 80s Valter Boj left Albisola. He works in France, in Valloris, and goes around Europe to observe exhibits, starting with his own production of post symbolic conceptual figurative works.

 

In 1989 he come back to Albisola and opened a workshop, where besides his works he performed ceramics with other artists.

 

His works are exhibited in Italy and all over the world. In 1993 Valter Boj’s works are still connected to a post informal material coloristic, as long as the production of the work “Di che colore è il tuo cielo”, because of the title of the painting the artist used blue oxides. This painting represents the turning point of his art, the love for this color that means sky, sea, empathy and evokes landscapes of southern.

 

In 2004 began the project S-Volta Celeste. The project consists in the realization of 150.000 stars, made with clay and painted in cobalt oxide. Each star is a unique work of the artist, who created entirely by hand each clay stars. S-Volta Celeste. The work has been arleady shown in Bologna, Faenza, Rome, Vienna, Paris, Berlin, Helsinki, Milan, Istanbul, Gent Linea Art Belgium, every presentation was matched with expositions and shows.
